Shericka Jackson 10.97s finished second behind Marie-Josee Ta Lou-Smith 10.94s to book her place in the finals of the women’s 100m in Tokyo Japan, in two hours time.
Jackson running out of lane 7, took 40-meters to get going but at the 70-meter mark with her speed coming on, she took her feet off the gas and cruised to the finish.
