Tina Clayton ran the race of her life to capture the silver medal in the women’s 100m at the World Athletics Championship in Tokyo Japan.
Melissa Jefferson-Wooden who is unbeaten this season won the gold medal in a championship record time of 10.61s , with Clayton recording a personal best of 10.76s.
Reigning Olympics gold medalist Julien Alfred had to settle for third in 10.84s and Shericka Jackson fourth in10.88.
Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, one of the greatest sprinters of all time, could only manage sixth place with 11.03s
