
Bennett and Mason shares lens as they celebrate their silver and bronze medals at the World Athletics Championship in Tokyo, Japan
KINGSTON, Jamaica –
Jamaica reaped two medals- silver and bronze- today in the men’s 110m hurdles at the World Athletics Championship in Tokyo Japan.
The gold medal went to Cordell Tinch of USA in 12.99 seconds.
The Jamaican pair of Orlando Bennett and Tyler Mason matched strides with Tinch over the first six hurdles, but thereafter, Tinch found another gear to settle the contest.
Bennett claimed the silver medal with a new personal best of 13.08s while Tyler equaled his PB of 13.12 to capture the bronze
On the medals table , Jamaica occupies fourth position with five medals, one gold, three silver and one bronze.
