
Shiann Salmon recording her season best 54.21s in the women's 400mH at the World Athletics Championship in Tokyo, Japan
KINGSTON, Jamaica –
The Jamaican pair of Shiann Salmon and Andrenette Knight have booked their lanes in the semifinals of the women’s 400mH at the World Athletics Championship in Tokyo Japan.
Andrenette Knight competing from lane 7 in heats 2, clocked 53.74 seconds to finish second behind American Anna Cockrell of USA (53.63s) . Third went to Fatoumata Binta Diallo of Portugal (54.54).

Shiann Salmon advanced from heats 4 when stopped the clock in a season best 54.21s to secure second place behind USA’s Dalilah Muhammad (53.80).
