
Akeem Blake competing in the first round of the mens 100m at the World Athletic Championship in Tokyo Japan
KINGSTON, Jamaica –
Kishane Thomspson of Jamaica and Kenny Bednarek both clocked 9.85s to qualify for the finals of the men’s 100m finals later today in Tokyo Japan.
Both men ran conservatively and they both accelerated and decelerated in synchrony from the 50m mark to the end.
In heats 3, Oblique Seville shook of the horrors of the first round and cruised across the line in 10.86 to beat Letsile Tebogo of Botswana 9.94
Akeem Blake 10.12 failed to qualify finishing 5th place in heats one which was won my Noah Lyles 9.92s.
