West Indies resuming on 16-1 in search of 225 for first innings honors have processed to 73-3 at tea, in the third test match, West Indies vs Australia being played at Sabina Park.
Overnight batmen Brandon King (8) and Captain Roston Chase (3) took the score to 28 before King was adjudged lbw by Josh Hazelewood for 14.
Captain Roston Chase grafted his way to 18 off 71 delivers before he was caught at first slip by Khawaja off a lifting delivery from Pat Cummings, to leave West Indes at 58/3.
John Campbell who got off-the- mark with an edge for 4, grew in confidence to be not out on 31 from 54 balls with three 4s .
It was a session of grit and determination from both sides. The Australians bowled with precision, line and length, and on a few occasions they used short-pitched deliveries to create uncertainties in the mind of the West Indians , who were intent on playing from the front foot.
